“Luna Nascente” Extra Dry Rosé Sparkling Wine Terre Siciliane IGT, Maggiovini, (75cl); pure varietal from organically grown, native Frappato grapes, its luminous rosy hue and fine, persistent perlage prelude a fresh, fruity, fragrant bouquet showing crisp notes of pomegranate, strawberry and cherry confirmed on the silky, appealing palate. The latter is characterized by higher concentration and persistence, characteristic of the Long Charmat Method (the wine sojourns on the lees, in stainless steel, for six months). Ideal both as aperitif and an all-around food wine. Fun fact: “Luna Nascente” means “new moon”.
