Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC, Adriano Marco e Vittorio (750ml): The Adriano family’s labor of love hails from the heart of the Langhe hills – ruby red with garnet reflections, its intense, ample bouquet recalls blueberries and jam with spicy undertones; well balanced, full-bodied and complex on the palate, it is an ideal pairing with first courses no less than meat and medium-seasoned cheese, as well as mushrooms and truffles.
